Horizon’s Grief Resource Center is Wisconsin’s only walk-in grief counseling center dedicated to grief, bereavement and healing.

Horizon’s Grief Resource Center serves as a safe haven for individuals and families who have suffered the death of someone significant in their lives.

Grief is a life-changing, yet common human experience. We understand that the grief process is different for everyone, and we’re here to listen and support individuals who are going through it. Horizon's Grief Resource Center is open to those experiencing the death of someone significant in their lives. It is open and accessible to the public thanks to the generosity of our donors and provides its services free of charge--no insurance required.

We offer a wide range of grief and bereavement services.

  • Short-term individual and family counseling, by appointment

In conjunction with our Hospice services, we offer a cohesive bereavement program which provides grief support by phone and mail for the family members of our hospice patients. In addition, all family members have access to Grief Resource Center services.

Walk-ins are welcome during regular hours (for information, tour or library usage).
