The Charles M. Ego Fund was created in 2014 to provide Horizon employees working at the Lawlis Family Inpatient Unit an opportunity to further pursue his or her education.  Employees interested in recertification or attending workshops, seminars, or courses related to healthcare that will better him or her professionally are eligible to apply.

This memorial fund honors the legacy of Charles and his advocacy for education.

It is it is also a gift to the Lawlis Family Staff, who cared for him and his family during the 10 months he called Horizon “home.”

Horizon Home Care & Hospice is very appreciative of both Charles “Chuck” and his wife, Marlene, who have generously made continuing education opportunities possible at the Lawlis Family Inpatient Unit.
